• Souvenir Tea Towel - celebrating 50 years of Hugo Meynell

  We have today released our own souvenir tea towel to celebrate 50 wonderful years of Hugo Meynell, featuring self portraits of all our lovely children and staff.

   

  Tea towels cost £4 each and are available to buy on ParentPay until 9th July.

  

• The Great British Spring Clean 2021

  It’s not every day you see a womble in Loggerheads but today, as part of Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Clean and in conjunction with Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, Orinoco the Womble came to the village to show his support, armed with bags, litter pickers and hi-viz jackets!

   

  The Y6 children, although shocked by the amount of litter in the local park and surrounding area, enjoyed taking part and making a difference in improving our community and are keen to get out and about and do it again.

• The School App

  We are very excited to announce that to improve communication with our entire school community, we have launched a Smartphone App which will be used as our primary method of communication with all families. The app is free to download and works with both iPhones and Android phones. Parents will receive a text message today with details of how to download and activate the App on your device.

   

  We would be grateful if parents would activate the app as soon as possible to ensure that you do not miss any important communication from us!

   

  An email was sent to parents today with full details. Please contact the office if you need any more information.

  

• New Website Launched!

  Welcome to our brand new school website

   

  We will use the website to keep parents up to date with school news and notices, and to showcase some of the great things our children are achieving. We hope that you find it easy to navigate but if you have any difficulty let us know.

   

  We also have an exciting new App that we will use to deliver all communication from school. This will replace text messaging, therefore it is important to download the app as soon as possible so that you receive all our messages.

   

  Along with communication from school, the App will also include school calendar dates, upcoming events and the school website in an easy to read format on your phone or tablet.
