Reception took to the playground today to protest against ocean pollution. The children are not happy about pollution including the amount of plastic and other nasties that end up in our oceans. They wanted to raise awareness about it in our school and encourage others to do something in their homes likes continuing to use a reusable water bottle and to recycle. 

The children also wanted to ‘save the whale’ from their story- The Snail 🐌 and the Whale which has been the inspiration and for their courageous work. Take a look at how they got on…

Year 4 were busy all week preparing their chocolate covered bananas to sell to raise money to adopt a gorilla. They worked so hard as they all had jobs to do and worked well as a team. They were so happy to announce that they raised the funds needed and they would like to thank everyone for their support. They will keep you updated on the adoption process!
