Year 2 Kenya Day

For Year 2's people and culture's day, they explored Kenya by learning about where it is located, what the weather and landscapes are like and what animals can be found there such as the 'big 5'. Can you name them?
The children enjoyed participating in a scavenger hunt to discover lots of interesting facts, they also looked at traditional clothing, colours and patterns used on materials, listened to and watched local tribes sing and dance, which included being introduced to the Maasai jumping dance.
