In Reception today, we learnt about how we can stay safe on. We watched various videos to support this and discussed what we may do if we find something that makes us scared, worried or sad. We also discussed what AI was and also what is it used for.

We finally discussed what we may see online may not be real and how somethings can be ‘fake’, we completed a little quiz together and decided what images we thought were real and what were fake.

We also watched Jessie and her dog, named Dog, as they watch videos online using a tablet. Together they learn that while the internet can be enjoyable and fun, there are sometimes things online that can be upsetting or scary. Jessie learns that she can always speak to a grown-up who will be able to help her and put down the tablet if there is anything she sees or hears online that makes her feel worried, scared or sad.  We talked about what we would do if we were at home.
