The information below provides advice on what to do if someone in your household has coronavirus symptoms, as well as whether or not your child should attend school.
Covid Response at Hugo Meynell
In line with the UK's response to the coronavirus outbreak, Hugo Meynell Primary School closed to the vast majority of children on 20th March 2020. Ahead of the autumn term, our risk assessments were reviewed and new processes implemented to make sure that school was as safe as possible for children and staff.
The information below was communicated to all families on 2nd September 2020.(Please note, this information was published on 15th July 2020, and may be superseded by any changes to government advice regarding social distancing or self isolation periods.)

Preparing to reopen school to more children - June 2020
The government announced in May 2020 that schools would reopen in June to children from Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 as long as it was safe to do so. At Hugo Meynell, we worked hard in school to put measures in place for when we reopened. The videos below show the systems in place.
